Prime Ethiopia Tours is a premier inbound tour operator offering immersive, multi-day adventures across Ethiopia, a land of ancient wonder, natural beauty, and vibrant cultural heritage. Founded from a deep passion for travel and cultural exploration, our mission is to craft unforgettable, high-quality journeys that connect travelers to the real heart of Ethiopia.

We specialize in locally-led combination tours that blend history, nature, and authentic experiences. Each of our curated itineraries is designed to align with your personal interests and travel style, ensuring an enriching and meaningful journey. To make your decision process easier, our tours are thoughtfully categorized, helping you find the perfect itinerary with ease — whether you're an avid explorer, a professional #PhotoNomad, or traveling with family or friends.

Explore the surreal, alien-like landscapes of the Danakil Depression, one of the hottest and most geologically active places on Earth. Venture deep into the Omo Valley, where you’ll encounter some of the world’s last remaining indigenous tribes, offering rare and respectful opportunities for cultural immersion unlike anywhere else.

Our Heritage Edition tours invite you to step back in time, guiding you through Ethiopia’s most iconic historic sites — from the imperial castles of Gondar to the legendary rock-hewn churches of Lalibela and Axum, as well as the awe-inspiring cliff-side monasteries of Gheralta. For those seeking spiritual depth, align your visit with Ethiopia’s vibrant religious festivals, where faith, tradition, and celebration converge in unforgettable ways.

No Ethiopian journey would be complete without a visit to Harar, the “Little Gem of the Orient.” A 16th-century UNESCO World Heritage Site rich in Muslim and Arabic influences, Harar’s maze-like alleys and colorful culture offer a unique glimpse into Ethiopia’s eastern soul. Cap off your experience with the legendary hyena feeding ritual, a one-of-a-kind interaction between man and wild that lingers long after your journey ends.

Humble Beginnings

From Keyafer to Tour Guide: A Journey of Passion and Dedication

I am a certified, young, and passionate outdoor enthusiast, whose journey began in the small town of Keyafer in the Omo Valley. As a teenager, I spent my days running after tourists, selling small souvenirs to support myself and my family.

One day, fate intervened. While standing outside a hotel room, I was approached by an English-speaking local guide alongside a kind-hearted Dutch man. Though hesitant at first, I slowly stepped forward—a moment that would change my life forever.

A Life Transformed

Thanks to the generosity of our Dutch sponsor, my brother and I were taken to Addis Ababa to receive a better education. I completed high school and pursued a vocational diploma specializing in:

Tour Services

Tour Guiding

Tour Operations and Management

Determined to further my expertise, I continued my studies and earned a Bachelor's degree in Tourism and travel Management.

A Passion for Travel and Culture

Now a responsible, caring, and dedicated tour guide and Fixer, I take great pride in offering my clients memorable and immersive travel experiences. My first-hand exposure to different cultures—including living with a Westerner—has strengthened my ability to connect with travelers from around the world, giving me valuable insights into their expectations and interests.

I work hard to ensure that every tour is not just a trip, but an unforgettable journey—one that is truly worth every penny.
