Spencer Montero
Spencer is a British-born photographer based in Spain, driven by an insatiable curiosity to explore the world and connect with the people who make it so diverse and extraordinary. His travels have taken him from the high peaks of the Altai Mountains, where he lived alongside Mongolia’s legendary eagle hunters in their yurts, to the winding backstreets of India and the remote tribal heartlands of Ethiopia.
Whether he’s riding across landscapes on a motorbike or travelling light with a backpack, Spencer has a unique ability to capture the soul of a place through his lens. His work blends strong artistic vision with a deep sociological sensitivity—reflecting real stories, real people, and raw beauty.
Spencer’s approach is simple: be a traveller first, and a photographer second. For him, great travel photography is about far more than just technical skill. It’s about presence, patience, and connection—skills that come into play long before the shutter clicks and linger long after the camera is packed away.
Over the years, Spencer has built a dedicated community of followers who appreciate not only his striking images but also his generous spirit. He regularly shares themed tutorials and offers practical, down-to-earth advice for aspiring travel photographers who want to go beyond the postcard shot.
Now, Spencer is teaming up with Prime Ethiopia Tours for a truly unforgettable journey—and he’s inviting you to come along.
This is more than a photo tour. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime chance to explore the Omo Valley, one of the most culturally rich and visually stunning regions in all of Africa. You’ll meet extraordinary people, witness timeless traditions, and learn how to capture them with depth and respect—all with Spencer at your side, guiding you every step of the way.
Come for the experience. Stay for the stories. Leave with the kind of images—and memories—you’ll never forget.
